On March 11 mars, 2000 the work of author Lise-Anne Pilon-Delorme was
recognized when she was inducted into the Ordre de la Francophonie de Prescott
& Russell. Lise-Anne, whose books for young readers have received
acclaim at home and in France said that retaining the francophone culture
meant being francophone at home at at work. She added: "I am pleased
to be able to write in French and be published in Ontario".
