Some American Pilons

A few years ago, Jean-Luc Pilon, the webmaster of the Pilon International Web site was in Washington, D.C. and visited the Viet Nam memorial, thereby coming to the realisation that there are Pilons in the United States of America who are as much part of the New World Pilon family as the Pilons living in Québec and elsewhere in Canada.  This initial discovery on his part led to the creation of a web page dedicated to the memory of Alan Everett Pilon who had died in Viet Nam.  This in turn led to contacts with relatives of Alan E. Pilon, both through the internet as well as through more traditional means, i.e. the mail and the phone.

As a result, Jody Pilon Anderson, a first cousin of Alan E. Pilon, has put together her Pilon family tree with two goals in mind.  First, she hopes to find someone who may be able to help connect her Pilon branch with the Pilons of Canada where she knows her ancestor hailed from.  Secondly, she would like to encourage others who are remotely connected to this same branch, to share information and broaden the scope of what she posseses.  As Jody put it: "Come on all you American Pilon Cousins, let's hook up!"
