Patrick Pilon (1866 - 1936)

Patrick, with his giant hands searched in his small pockets, took, with much trouble a small 5 cents to buy us candies.  Patrick worked with his two sons Gaudias and Léo at Campbell Boiler on Carling Street in Ottawa.  At the Ottawa Civic Hospital they built the big chimney that is still there.  One time, Patrick cut his thigh and did not want to go to the hospital.  He drank a bottle of strong whiskey and the doctor sowed him up.  Patrick knew quite well the legendary Jos Montferrand and Louis Cyr.
