Lucille Pilon and Maurice Carrière
Photo taken in front of the house at 109 Booth Street in Ottawa. The wedding ceremony took place in the basement of St-Jean-Baptiste Church because is was during Lent and no catholic wedding was allowed during that time. However because Maurice was in the Army Reserve and could be called to war anytime and also that Father Bédard was a close family friend, a special permission was granted for this wedding but in the church basement only. Maurice was born on the 12th of April 1921, in Ottawa.
