Ontario
Office of
The Prime Minister & President of the Council

May 17, 1944

Dear Mr. Pilon:

The Government has requested me to convey to you our deep sympathy in the loss of your dear son, Sergeant Francis Rolland Joseph Pilon, and to assure you that all members of the Ontario Legislature recognized the deep sense of obligation which the province owes for this great sacrifice which has been made to preserve all that we hold dear.

May I express my personal sympathy and the assurance that those who have paid the supreme sacrifice will never be forgotten by the people of Ontario.

Yours sincerely,

George Drew

Mr. Philias Pilon,
Rockland, Ontario.
